India loses hope for semis

Once again lethargic forwards lead India to another tragic defeat by 2-3 from England. The superb stops by goalkeeper,Adrian D' Souza left in vain as India missed the penalty corners, some easy shots ( the one in last minute by Rajpal)
and failure in ball collection.
Gurbaj Singh performed well but Prabhjot,Tushar were nowhere in the scene and master-boy Shivender failed to felt his presence.
Indians reduced to 10 men for last 4 minutes and then to 9 before 2 minutes to the end and the last minute chance to equalise went lost.
India down by 0-1 in the first half put on 2 more goals to make it 0-3, Gurwinder Singh Chandi and skipper Rajpal Singh scored in the 54th and 58th minute respectively to cut down the lead to 2-3 for India and gave Indians fans chance to stand on their feets.
But failed to execution in crucial moments left fans in despair.
We should remember that India finished 11th in the last World Cup in Monchengladbach. Also England's lethal performance continues to dodge oppositions and getting their best start-up in any World Cup & hence become the first team to book berth in semis.

Lets see if India wins over SA,which crashed Pak 4-3 earlier, & Spain semis chances looks gray as they were overturned by Aus 2-0 in the classic presentation of modern Hockey.
